Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall management of the warehouse function at the branch including the daily management of Warehouse Specialist activities to include ensuring overall inventory accuracy, proper material handling protocols, load in/load out integrity, material availability, and shipping & receiving timeliness.

Accurately perform manual inventory transactions and record results in the ERP System.

Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.

Process returns to vendor shipments for damaged or returned items.

Ensure the Load In / Load Out policies are adhered to.

Responsible for ensuring proper utilization of the bar-coding technology/process is adhered to.

Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies/procedures related to warehouse activities.

Comply with added regulations when dealing with storage and retrieval of hazardous material and ensure proper training is received.

Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.

Schedule and maintain inventory audits.

Coordinate participation in inventory activities at the branch (includes transactions, receiving and sub-inventory transfers).

Proper and safe usage of forklift.

Direct the daily work activities of warehouse specialists or warehouse leads.

Calculate and evaluate minimum/maximum levels for products/items.

Ensure inventory variances are within acceptable guidelines.

Conduct warehouse safety training.

Take proactive steps to ensure building maintenance and security of the warehouse.

Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

Minimum of 18 years of age.

If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.

Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience.

Industry Experience (Construction, Insulation, Trades, etc.) preferred.

Special Requirements: Need to work overtime and weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed.

Compensation Range

Annually: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00
