Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to work in our Worcester, MA location

 

You will be responsible for driving processes related to the receipt of raw material, storage of all inventory and shipment of finished goods. Assist the Supply Chain Manager in the development of processes to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, maintain inventory accuracy and reduce overall costs.  Through these improvements, you will exceed the customers’ expectations by making sure that the organizational decision making is based on a process-oriented culture to ensure the linkage from strategy to actions. Manages the daily function of the logistics department and warehouse to meet state and federal laws and customer and company requirements. Analyzes and implements changes and/or programs to ensure the accuracy of the finished goods inventory and shipments. Research and resolve customer concerns or complaints regarding shipments.

 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,700 a year.

Drive a Zero Incident Safety CultureSupport the execution of optimized materials storage and handling processes and proceduresCommunicate with, direct and motivate a diverse hourly workforce on a regular basisSet clear expectations and goals for the hourly workforce and hold these employees accountable for their results including required trainingMaintain accurate records including overtime, daily production, attendance and corrective action registersCoordinate the logistics as required by ordering trucks based on product specifications and location requirementsAssist in maintaining an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals       Operates within budget constraints including O/T, expenses, freight charges, scrap, etc.Monitor and provide employee coaching with respect to safety, quality and productivity performance (attendance, training, coaching, overtime, vacation requests etc.)Maintain and update material handling processes, standard work and work instructionsFosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvementKnowledge of domestic transportation lanes, including customs, and warehousing.Management of 3rd party providers, including experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers and customs (import/export). Knowledge of transportation/logistics/supply chain concepts and strategies, including IT selection and implementation. Strong communication and team leadership skills are essential. Ability to drive results by developing and empowering teams.Conflict resolution experience and strong problem-solving abilityExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or in lieu of degree (7) years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse/inventory experienceMinimum two (2) years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse/inventory experienceMinimum two (2) years supervisory experienceLegally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

 

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Lean/Six Sigma certificationsPrevious experience with AS400 or other MRP/ERP system. Fork truck/forklift certifications
