Your role as a Warehouse Supervisor positions you to be directly involved in the physical production that enables Baxter to fulfill our mission to save and sustain lives. You manage the line between meeting production timelines and making quality products. As a supervisor, you are the trusted critical connection between the business and the workers on the floor.
 

What you'll be doing

Responsible for supervision of receiving, storage, issuing and handling items and materials in the warehouse while maintaining GMP compliant in the warehouse.Supervise the daily operations across all shifts including performance, attendance, and individual evaluations.Interact with plant management on operating issues relative to warehouse and inventory control that impact plant operations.Commit to employee feedback and developmental processes.Adheres to corporate trade compliance regarding import/export.Maintains department schedules which support production without delays.Plan and coordinate efficient transfer of materials to and from production and warehouse areas.Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control procedures and documentation for all assigned inventory.Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, regulatory requirements, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities.Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principlesLearn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Creates and updates SOPs, NCRs, and CAPAs.
 

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree preferred with one to three years of warehouse supervisor experience or 5+ years of warehouse supervisor experience if no degree.Ability to supervise activities of the warehouse.Proficient in warehouse management systems and pc environments.Manage multiple priorities in a warehouse setting.Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.
 

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $64,000 - $88,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
