Our client, a third-party logistics (3PL) company is looking to hire a Weekend Warehouse Supervisor (Seasonal). The ideal candidate would need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively. Responsibilities for this position include ensuring all associates are meeting daily UPH and quality requirements, adhering to work instructions and SOPs, and addressing performance or deviations from standard protocols as needed addressing performance as needed.

The Day-to-Day:

Manage daily outbound operations, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.Plan and organize daily workflow, including validating all components and materials are available to startResponsible for labor planning and allocation, ensuring the line is properly staffed and ready for the workday, including temporary associatesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize workflow within the outbound department.Ensure that all outbound shipments meet quality standards and customer specifications. Address and resolve any issues related to order accuracy, packaging, or shipping.Oversee the management of outbound inventory, material supplies, ensuring proper handling, storage, and tracking of products to prevent loss and ensure availability.Focus on the productivity, process, and quality of warehouse operations through warehouse KPIs.Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance to senior management.Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areasComply with all OSHA and warehouse safety rules and guidelinesCommunicate and engage with teammates, team leads, and managers dailyTraining, coaching and mentoring associatesMaintain daily attendance of associates, including timeclock adherenceEnsure associate compliance with all company rules, policies and guidelinesResolving and mediating conflicts or interpersonal issues within teams, and escalating complex issues to management as needed

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaMinimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory roleSupportive of values following policies and proceduresWorking knowledge of warehouse and WMS

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$23.00 to $30.00 /hrFriday to Sunday (Seasonal)6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
