Maintains inventory accuracy and preservation of materials by receiving, storing, and delivering items to Production, Quality and related departments, ensuring safety in the warehouse by following corporate guidelines and responsible of supervision and support to warehouse employees
Supervision of inventory transactions of materials between warehouses as well coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements to ensure a safe work environment.
Maintains inventory by conducting daily physical counts, reconciling variances & inputting data.
Keeps work equipment in good conditions by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
Participates in documenting and publishing key inventory and distribution metrics aligned with the Operational and Business Strategy.
Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions & recommending compensation actions.
What you needRequired:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineer or correlated area or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Warehouse, Inventory Control, or continuous improvement area and in the manufacturing environment
Previous experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
Proficient in MS Office (Excel mid-level expertise and Power Point), Internet browsers and Outlook
ERP experience
Certified as forklift and pallet jack operator
Preferred:
Advanced English
Experience with SAP
Travel Percentage: 10%
