BrightFarms is a national leader in the booming indoor farming industry, transforming how produce is grown and delivered with its expanding network of high-tech, sustainable hydroponic farms.  We currently operate six high-tech greenhouse farms, with four new regional salad greenhouse hubs breaking ground to begin opening in 2024. BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 3,700 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest. 

The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure uninterrupted daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and aid farm operations to meet production plans while also increasing the company’s overall market share goals. This role reports to the Production Manager.


Specifically, you will:   

Demonstrate and operational excellence in shipping, receiving, and storing of materialsAchieve a high degree of customer satisfaction through proper auditing of materials received, shipped, and stored.Measure and report the effectiveness of warehouse activities, space utilization and inventory levelsPerform inventory cycle counts, verifications and reconciliations as requiredOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments and inventory transactions are accurate and recorded in a timely mannerInterface with internal and external customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain item records, documents, and utilize reports to project warehouse status in the systemAssist in the creation of SOPs for all processes to ensure business continuity and resilienceIdentify areas of improvement and establish new or adjust existing work procedures and practicesReview and coordinate activities with other departments and leadershipOther duties as assigned

The ideal candidate:   

Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Business administration, or Related FieldProven work experience as a Warehouse or Inventory Supervisor2-3 years of experience in interpreting shipping, receiving, purchase order and other related documentationForklift certification and experience operating powered equipment to load, unload and move materials as required 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsGreat interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external teamsComputer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to input, retrieve and analyze data
