Join us as a Warehouse Supervisor
This position, reporting to the Head of North Americas Microbes WHs & Distribution, is primarily responsible for overseeing employees and managing initiatives within the warehouse.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
+ Overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure on-time delivery targets are achieved.
+ Being accountable for meeting key KPIs, including customer complaints, delivery performance, space optimization, and budget management.
+ Managing inventory to achieve cycle count goals and support the annual financial audit.
+ Collaborating with third-party warehouses to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and service performance metrics.
+ Executing managerial duties in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including safety program oversight, work direction, performance evaluation, employee rewards and discipline, complaint resolution, and problem-solving.
+ Leading employee development initiatives, including career progression, training programs, and preparation of work instructions.
+ Driving continuous improvement in methods and processes related to safety, GMP, continuous improvement initiatives, FSSC, and ISO standards.
+ Investigating customer complaints and drives corrective actions to resolution.
+ Overseeing safety stock levels for essential packing materials such as foam, cooler boxes, pallets, and dry ice.
+ Managing all shuttle operations between sites to ensure compliance, efficiency, and quality of service.
+ Participating in regulatory and quality audits, implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance.
+ Contributing to capital improvement projects.
+ Ensuring adherence to Kosher and Halal dietary certification requirements.
To succeed you must hold:
+ Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
+ Thorough understanding of warehouse and inventory systems and processes.
+ Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to lead and inspire a team of employees.
+ Capability to make administrative, procedural, and employment-related decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
+ Proven project management and team facilitation skills, with the ability to achieve results through others.
+ Effective communication, interaction, and problem-solving skills, particularly with cross-functional colleagues and transportation representatives.
+ These competencies are typically developed through a bachelor’s degree (preferred) in operations management or business, combined with three to five years of experience managing warehouse employees and operations.
