Summary Job title: Warehouse Supervisor Job ID: 202534320002 Department: Jeffersonville - FCES Location: IN-Jeffersonville Description Summary: We are looking for an effective Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all day to day warehouse operations to ensure we are operating as efficiently as possible. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to directing shipping, receiving, planning delivery routes for our drivers, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, and coordinating with other departments to ensure expectations are being met. You will need to assign tasks to other staff members to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion. Reports to: Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED + Proven work experience in a management or supervisory capacity + Strong knowledge of our process and procedures + Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives + Leadership skills and ability to manage staff + Strong decision making and problem solving skills + Excellent communication and organization skills Preferred Qualifications: No additional qualifications Working Conditions: Warehouse environment (concrete floors) and outdoor conditions (on asphalt, gravel, or grass) including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Some job functions may require extended periods of sitting or standing. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Essential Job Functions: + Training new employees on our process in the warehouse + Coach and develop the warehouse team + Prioritizing and delegating tasks for other staff members to complete + Communicating with our sales staff and customers to ensure timelines are met + Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse + Ensure shelves are well stocked to so orders can be pulled quickly and efficiently + Ensure the accuracy of work performed by the warehouse team, and bring concerns to the profit center manager when disciplinary action is necessary + Plan and implement process improvement projects + Ensure efficient space utilization + Ensure all warehouse equipment is operated in a safe manner + Work with operations manager to maintain accurate inventory levels + Maintain bin locations and shelf labels + Work with the profit center manager to plan strategic investments needed to improve efficiency + schedule maintenance of vehicles and equipment + Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $18 to $23 hourly.
