Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of warehouse staff focused on picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. You will ensure the efficient and accurate processing of both domestic and international shipments, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards, especially in hazardous material handling. Collaborate with transport planners to guarantee timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and Motivate Staff: Supervise, mentor, and guide warehouse staff including pickers, packers, shippers and work closely with transportation planning. Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team. Optimize Picking & Packing: Manage the picking and packing process, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with proper labeling and packaging for shipment. Packages often include several components and are tailored to customer requests. Manage Shipping Operations: Oversee domestic and international shipping, ensuring all orders are dispatched on time and in full compliance with relevant shipping regulations. Process international shipment documentation, including customs forms and compliance paperwork. Ensure Safe Hazardous Materials Shipping: Safeguard the handling, storage, and shipment of hazardous materials in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of hazardous shipments. Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels. Lead regular cycle counts and assist with annual inventory audits to keep stock management efficient. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality control by ensuring orders are accurate, undamaged, and ready for shipment. Champion Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to minimize accidents and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure warehouse operations comply with OSHA standards and other safety regulations. Drive Process Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize productivity. Collaborate with Transport Planners: Work closely with transport planners to ensure the timely availability of carriers and the efficient coordination of deliveries. Resolve shipping and delivery issues promptly to maintain timely operations. Maintain Accurate Records & Reporting: Ensure all shipping and inventory records are accurate. Prepare regular reports and provide updates to senior management on warehouse performance and any operational issues. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in logistics, business management, or a related field is a plus. Experience: 2 years of warehouse experience+, with at least 2 year in a supervisory or leadership role (supervisory experience can be outside of warehouse ie retail) Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS). Knowledge of hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOT, IATA, IMDG). Strong ability to perform work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and warehouse management software. Certifications: Certification in hazardous materials handling or forklift operation is a plus. Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
