Warehouse Supervisor

**Description**
Supervisor is expected to work closely with Superintendent and Plant Manager to ensure the following:
* Responsible for supervising all operations:
* Inbound, outbound, and claims processing
* Responsible for delivering objectives including but not limited to:
* Cover crews in supervisor's absence
* Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings
* Prepare/maintain work related records as needed
* Schedule workforce (including overtime and vacation)
* Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best in class performance
Location: 138 - Brownstown Parts Redistribution Ctr (PRC)
Skills Required: * Self Starter
* Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred, willing to work rotating work hours when required
* Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM) Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently
* Goal oriented individual
* Have Continuous Improvement mind set
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees
* Other Information: Must be able to work outside of traditional work hours.
* Current operational hours are from 6:00 AM until 1:30 AM (2 shifts)
* Some weekends might be required
* Must have the ability to work overtime/adjust schedule as required, as the business dictates.
* Proven dependability record and successful team-oriented experience.

Manage the day to day PRC operations while maintaining strict controls over process and procedure
Lead hourly team in daily operations
(Oversee all staffing issues-attendance, vacation, daily assignment, etc
Develop and implement projects to improve overall operating metrics and reduce budget expense
Develop strong working relationship with UAW counterparts
Implement Continuous Improvement culture with hourly staff
Develop and Lead all safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment for all
Actively participate in developing a safety culture that maintains a zero incident mindset
Proactively address all safety concerns in an expedient manner
Work with salary and hourly teams to improve safety culture and adherence to safety guidelines
Maintain and develop strong Quality Procedures to ensure the facility is functioning at highest levels

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $29.38 - $32.45/hr.
