Summary of the Position:
The warehouse supervisor is responsible for inbound operations and employees scheduled to receive product, put away, work order pulling and product distribution.

Has the ability to provide front-line support to problem solving, researching any issues that arise.20%EEnsures that proper procedures are followed for receiving, put away, work order pulling and product distribution both systematically and operationally, along with determining appropriate corrective action where required.15%EEnsures trailers are being unloaded and product is delivered to lines in a timely manner.10%EWorks closely with Inventory Control to ensure all receipts/work order pulling is correct and makes necessary adjustments.10%EFollows and enforces all safety and GMP procedures.10%EHires, directs, trains, motivates and evaluates warehouse employees.5%MHandles inbound and product distribution. Communicates with external and internal customers as necessary.5%MConducts meetings with employees on safety and other topics.5%EEnsures all employees are using proper documents.Continually· Responsible to support safety culture by practicing safe work behaviors, reporting potential hazards, and conducting safety observations.
Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas. Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.Responsible to comply with all safety policies and procedures established for health and workplace safety.

Education, Experience and Knowledge:
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.Two years of warehousing experience in a supervisory or lead role required.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Material handling equipment certification preferred.Skills and Competencies:
Must be goal oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment. Must have excellent team building, project execution and communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) preferred.Job Specific Requirements
