ACME Distribution Center, a division of Albertsons Companies, is searching for a Warehouse Supervisor - Grocery Operations to join our team.  Successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse facilities, equipment, merchandise movement, and associates to ensure accurate, economical, and efficient operation. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise all movement of product through the Automated Warehouse (T²) and personnel to ensure that all functions performed are handled efficiently and economically. Directly supervises and controls the workforce assigned to T² Operations and is responsible for meeting production goals and ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of shipments. Maintain daily production standards and accurate records. Utilize problem solving techniques for overcoming any barriers encountered related to an automated system challenges.  Create and maintain system control documentation and system training programs. Collects and analyses data from reports to increase performance.  Conducts fault analysis and customer service inquiries in respect to T² Operations. Review, update, and maintain (KB) knowledge base to ensure that all articles are current and relevant.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess strong general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work experience to include lead person, or supervisory duties. Ability to supervise and work with and through others to achieve desired results. Possess good communication skills. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports. General knowledge of statistical analysis and Office programs required. Prior experience with data modeling and statistical analysis beneficial. Requires analytical ability to handle daily operational duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities. Possess ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced, hectic environment. Most work is performed under automated warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist regarding equipment, machinery, and movement of personnel, etc. Prior exposure to the Witron systems such as BWOS, TEVIS, DEPAL and MFC tray/pallet are extremely beneficial, but not required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:  

This position requires considerable amounts of walking, and standing for long periods kneeling, squatting, or bending.  Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
