Description REPORTS TO: Inventory Control Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the warehouse operation by administering documents for daily scanning into document imaging software, creates daily reports to inside sales for the timely distribution of associated paperwork to close out tickets to generate invoicing for the various manufacturers Nelson & Associates inventories in its distribution center. In addition, this position will provide clerical support in administering and maintaining various data and document entry into electronic format and filing. JOB FUNCTIONS: Process Daily Production Orders: · Gather complete order documents from shipping, UPS, Fed Ex, and Will Call. · Log the complete orders onto the orders pulled Spread sheet. If the order was shipped late identify it by Highlighting the status cell · Scan the orders to the warehouse order backup folder, to the manufacturers and to the Global Search storage program · Store the hard copy documents into a storage box · At the Global Capture storage program, identify and amend the following steps as required; Distributor Name, Order Date, PO. Number, Ship Name, Shipper Reference Number and Vendor Name Clerical Duties: · Scan and log the will call sign in sheet for electronic records · Scan Will Call sign in sheets daily into the Will Call sign in sheet Folder by date · Create tags and labels as needed for inventory control and product specific locations · Assist others as necessary, i.e. inventory control specialist, receiving and shipping supervisors with document creation and filing for both paper and electronic platforms Requirements SKILLS & EXPERIENCE · Knowledge of or understanding document imaging software and how it works · Plans work in accordance with the priorities set by the Inventory Control Supervisor · Able to spot errors on tickets, record and report them to the immediate supervisor · Capable of performing several tasks at once and demonstrate initiative with new concepts PHYSICAL DEMANDS · Able to sit at a desk for one-hour intervals several times a day · Walk up to 200 yards with large amounts of paperwork to transfer to inside sales if need · Must be able to occasionally work overtime when required TalentMatch® ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
