Warehouse Team Lead - 1st Shift
Job Description

1st shift : Monday - Friday 9:30AM - 6:30PM

Wage : $21.25/Hr

SUMMARY The DC Team Lead must be knowledgeable in all facets of the department in order to support Managers with decision making. Fills in and complete supervisory and administrative duties as needed. The Team Lead maintains order and productivity in the department and ensures Managers instruction is carried out throughout the shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following, but not limited to these:

Perform any number of duties and functions within the DepartmentAssist Managers with daily departmental duties meet with Managers to review the workload.Includes allocation of team members, discuss goals and objectives for the shift, and team member performanceKeep the work-flow moving through the department as specified by the ManagersEnsure assigned team members have all of the necessary tools to do their jobsEnsure assigned team members are working in a safe and efficient mannerBe constantly available in work location to assist as needed and resolve issues as requiredRegularly communicate with the Managers on issues that arise and be able to react as requiredConduct start-up meetings with team members to discuss day before results, todays expectations, issues that need to be addressed, office safety issues, and work assignments for the dayEnsure all required paperwork is accurate and complete and turned in the appropriate parties at required timesMonitor and assist in the training of new employees Perform safety and performance observations as required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school or GED; one to three years related experience andor training; or some equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior warehouse experience or training is preferred but not required.
