SUMMARY
Coordinates activities of workers engaged in the shipping, verifying, receiving and
warehousing of production materials and keeping records on outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversees outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.Determines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out position of shipment.Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications and seals truck doors.Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.Maintains vehicle maintenance report.Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.Posts weight and shipping charges.Issues written and oral instructions.Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.Must be computer literate and be able to operate warehouse equipment.Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:Use computer to look up locations for orders being shipped.Unload shuttle truck, put finished goods, parts, etc., into proper locations filling out MMSD or scanning as unloading.Pull orders for shipment; check labels, weights, counts, etc. for accuracy.Fill out shipping pick list with proper information.Load freight when trucks arrive.Check and verify inventory as required.Keep track of pallets in and out of warehouse.Cycle count inventory correcting as necessary.Coordinate daily shipments with scheduling department.Coordinate packing of export shipments including ordering of parts, etc.Schedule overtime as needed.Complete and issue performance reviews for all warehouse team members.Responsible for verifying warehouse team members on all applicable ISO documents.Must be able to change battery on AGV and operate AGV when necessary.Pull packing slips from bill of ladings and attach to freight.Must follow all work rules and policiesQUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have forklift certification.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in high precarious places, in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
