Job Overview: Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Warehouse Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the physical unloading, receiving, and dispatching of materials, while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. This role requires a combination of technical skills and teamwork, including conducting inventory cycle counts, managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors, and maintaining organized warehouse processes.
Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Supervisor
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Material Handling:
o Unload incoming shipments and ensure proper inspection, labeling, and storage of materials.
o Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch materials to meet shipping deadlines.
o Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
2. Inventory Management:
o Perform regular inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
o Monitor stock levels and work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
o Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal storage and ease of access.
3. Safety Compliance:
o Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
o Participate in regular safety training and meetings to ensure team compliance with industry standards.
4. Vendor and Subcontractor Relations:
o Communicate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to shipments or orders.
o Maintain strong working relationships with external partners to support smooth operations.
5. Team Collaboration and Meetings:
o Participate in daily or weekly team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and any challenges related to warehouse operations.
o Collaborate with team members to solve problems, optimize workflow, and achieve departmental goals.
6. Office Tools & Documentation:
o Utilize Outlook and Excel to manage schedules, track shipments, and maintain inventory records.
o Maintain accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing materials, as well as cycle count results.
**Qualifications:**
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse experience or similar physical labor role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
**Physical Demands:**
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions if applicable.
Work Environment:
• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Pay Details:** $22.00 per hour
