Job Overview

Inventory counting, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and deliveries.

Key Job Responsibilities Pick and ship parts orders.  Receipt and distribution of purchase and stock orders.  Materials handling, off loading.  Perform bin, cycle and inventory counts including on site consignment inventories.  Housekeeping and clean up.  Understanding shipping policies, procedures, and methods.  Able to fulfill all written and verbal instructions given by Parts Manager. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required  Valid driver’s license  Forklift and warehouse experience preferred  Language Skills: Ability to read, write  and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees  Mathematical Skills: ability to compute and calculate basic math, including ratio and percentages  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations  Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software, Internet software, manufacturing software and order processing systems  Analytical Skills: Uses intuition and experience to complement data  Problem Solving Skills: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner  Customer Service Skills: Responds promptly to customer needs  Oral and Written Communication Skills: Speaks and writes clearly and informatively  Teamwork Skills: Balances team and individual responsibilities  Planning/Organizing Skills: Prioritizes and plans work activities  Professionalism: Reacts well under pressure; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments  Quality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality  Quantity: Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner Safety: Observes safety procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions  Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events  Additional Information
