Cleaning and organizing the warehouse Staging vehicles and jobs with the appropriate materials and equipment Taking accurate inventory counts Performing various janitorial work Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse Daily inventory counts for primary solar panels, inverters and batteries Receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner Accurately operate inventory control system and provide timely monthly inventory reports Follow established guidelines for proper storage of all warehouse items to minimize damage Identify areas needing improvement in the warehouse and develop solutions Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment in the warehouse Assist with building, maintenance, and repair tasks when necessary Assist Warehouse Supervisor in planning required inventory supply utilizing upcoming demand Responsibility for maintaining accurate inventory records in NetSuite (shared w/ Supervisor) which entails the following: Issue materials to projects in NetSuite Receive PO’s in NetSuite & verify quantities and contents match packing slip & PO Create purchase requisitions in NetSuite Interact with installation crews and subcontractors; loading jobs, pulling and issuing additional materials for jobs Training of warehouse technicians Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
At least 1 or more years of warehouse experience working with Solar Must be familiar with solar materials (panels, tile hooks, tilt scales, strut applications, etc.) Ability to read plans (blueprints) and use deductive reasoning to create lists of required materials for jobs Certified forklift driver a plus! Must possess a valid California driver license and a minimum of 2 years driving for a company Computer experience a must - having worked with, "All Orders", inventory system a big plus High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Some college preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position Ability to work with inventory management Ability to respond quickly to changes Strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
Pay: $20 to $25 per hr.
