Job Description
Warehouse and support staff ensure smooth delivery and pickup of inventory and equipment while adhering to program, practice and operations guidelines. Roles often include inventory management, budgets and reporting, fleet management and safety. Breadth of scope ranges from supporting individual programs, project or processes at warehouse to supporting contractors in the field. These roles tend to be more internal-facing than client-facing, although people in warehouse roles will occasionally have direct client, customer or trade ally communication and contact.
This role is on-site 5 days per week in Mississauga and the successful candidate must be located in the Greater Toronto Area.

Thoroughly understand warehouse operations and logistics
Organize and schedule the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory as requested by Program leads or Analysts
Maintain inventory and supplies by transferring items, inputting data, and counting when stocks need replenishment
Keep warehouse equipment operational by enforcing instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairs
Be an active member of Canada Safety Committee, responsible for ensuring that safety checks are completed and any safety issues are rectified
Train temporary staff on tasks needing completion during periods of high workload
Assist temporary warehouse staff and accommodates daily workloads to keep employees on task
Lift up to 50lbs repetitively
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
2-4+ years relevant experience
A valid Forklift license
High School Diploma required, post-secondary preferred
Fully proficient with Microsoft Office and solid computer aptitude
Experience with all warehouse-related equipment; eg forklift, pallet jack, order picker, loading docks
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment as well as taking direction and initiative
