What You Will Do
As our Warehouse Technician there will be no typical day. You will be responsible for a wide variety of logistic and loading duties that directly supports the construction function for all projects, companywide. Please note that this position has an on call aspect as GSI is an emergency contractor. If our customers have an emergency like a landslide, that is an emergency for GSI as well and we maintain an 24/7 response environment. Inventory control/audit preparation for Warehouse DepartmentInventory counting at random intervals on all itemsAbility to learn every individual material item and what its use is immediately upon hirePull all outgoing orders and re-inventory all return orders from all jobsShipping & Receiving duties- including loading and unloading all incoming and outgoing shipmentsGeneral labor in warehouseCleaning duties not limited to warehouse but including exterior of warehouse and general maintenance dutiesThis is an on call position as we are an emergency contractor and you may be required to be called in and/or stay late to complete emergency orders at any time QualificationsWhat You Need to Bring
Must have equipment operating experience, preferably a tele handler forklift as well as indoor forklift/general knowledge of daily maintenance on forklifts/equipmentMust be able to receive Class A CDL within 3 months of employment or possess Class A CDL upon employmentOrganization, accuracy, great communication skills and attention to detail are key assets that you must possess when applying for this positionMust be self-motivated to initiate what needs to be done and do so without direct supervision/directionA sense of urgency and being able to complete tasks before moving to another is a must in this positionAble to read, write, and speak English effectively.Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds easily and repetitively Able to operate heavy equipment and forklifts of various typesMust be able to operate computer in a Windows environment, be able to use internet extensively, extensive knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is necessary.GeoStabilization International is an equal opportunity employer.
