Position Mission:
Active team member dedicated to the control of the division’s inventory for the organization. Role will entail the distribution, collection, and maintenance of tools. Will maintain detailed records of tool transactions to support cost management activities for these important resources. Position will interface with a wide variety of functional areas within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintains perpetual inventory of tools, equipment and stock inventory using the computer.
+ Verifies/Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and reviews Stock Levels to create requisitions to replenish inventory. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
+ Inspect tools for damage or wear and tear, investigate misplaced tools and equipment and retrieve tools at the close of production shifts.
+ Maintain a clean, organized tooling center and comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
+ Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily inventory changes, scanning inventory, and accurate counting.
+ Serve as a back-up for Shipping & Receiving team to support high activity periods.
+ Additional organizational support duties as needed.
Position Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 3-5 years of experience.
+ Direct inventory management experience is a definite plus.
+ Basic computer competency to include handheld device experience is important for success in the role.
+ Ability to perform standing work assignments to include lifting, bending and walking throughout a full 8-hour shift on a regular basis.
+ Good communication skills with an ability to read and speak English to other team members within the organization.
+ Welding and fabrication experience a plus
