Title: Warehouse Technician
Location: Eddyville, IA
Salary: Up to $25.50/hourly (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm

What Will I Be Doing?
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
Employee must be able to work with personnel in a team-oriented and safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
Know SAP for creation of shopping carts, SES, track PO’s, receive goods, etc.
Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from all couriers, freight, and delivery services.
Check and inspect all shipments for damage and shortages before receiving.
Compare manufacturer part number with computer inventory system description (CMMS) and PO to ensure receipt of correct part.
Record the purchase order number, the vendor's name, the items, and the addressee on the receiver log every day for each and every package.
Coordinate return shipments to vendor if a wrong part is received or if there is a stock overage, verify with supervisor prior to returning
Ensure all parts are placed in the correct storage location
If parts ordered through PO for a work order, ensure a “job kit” is created and that all parts from the PO go to the same kit and kit location
Parts returned from kitted work orders should be returned to stock or to vendor. Verify with supervisor
Parts removed from equipment should be prepared for shipping as soon as possible. These items will be tracked on a spreadsheet
Do pickups of outgoing shipments as necessary
Operates equipment such as the forklift truck, cart, hand truck, and other material handling equipment.
Perform job kitting and ensure that all parts are identified and kitted for the scheduled work Contributes to team effort.
Other duties as assigned by appropriate supervision
Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.
Communications with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives
Meet physical requirements of the job. Physical requirements of the job will be provided to you prior to employment.
Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
Accurate administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting, work order completion, job planning, ordering materials, workload assessment and up-date / review maintenance management system (CMMS).
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
Work with Supervisor and Planner to ensure all jobs are kitted and ready for completion.
Allocate resources as required, coordinate shutdowns, contact vendors for plant and maintenance requirements.
What Makes Me Qualified?
Experience: Warehouse experience preferred, not required. SAP experience preferred, but not required

Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment
Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner
Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties
Communication/ Expression —The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Information Ordering — The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
