**Job Title: Warehouse Technician**
**Job Description**
This position is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery.
**Responsibilities**
+ 1+ years’ experience in warehousing in a manufacturing environment required.
+ Regulated warehousing experience in a food, medical, or pharmaceutical environment is a plus.
+ Strong documentation skills and attention to detail needed to complete warehousing documentation per SOP.
+ Ability to use a computer is required as we are transitioning to computerized SOP training.
+ Training schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with the training department. This includes SOPs, gowning training, safety training, etc., typically taking 2-3 weeks to complete.
+ All SOP documentation must be completed before beginning hands-on work.
+ After initial training, the candidate will move to hands-on training with the Materials Management team.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
+ Computer skills.
+ Documentation experience.
+ Quality/Inspection experience.
+ Must not be allergic to penicillin.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience with FDA regulations.
+ Skills in packaging, shipping, receiving, picking, and packing.
+ Experience in cleanroom environments is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This is a highly regulated FDA environment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab. The candidate will be exposed to moving parts and will work in a 'Clean Room' that is well lit, temperature, and humidity controlled. The candidate will be fully gowned from head to toe, including a hair net, beard net (if necessary), safety glasses, lab suit, gloves, and booties. The work week is Monday-Friday, with an 8-hour shift that starts between 7am-8am. There are two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
