Safety Ensure compliance to all safety rules per company policy.  Including but not limited to Cardinal safety rules, OSHA regulations, and DOT regulations. Complete Forklift Inspection and Trailer Entry Forms daily. Inspect trailers daily to verify condition meets criteria set by Client for loading and unloading. Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses immediately. Comply with all safety rules per company policy.  Attend monthly safety meetings and complete all required training.

Receiving – 100% accurate and timely receipts. Must be proficient in SAP and operate RF Monitor as it relates to the job functions. Conduct unloading, receiving, labeling, and put away activities via RF. Communicate and resolve issues with Supervisor or Manager.

Shipping – 100% on-time and accurate shipments – Zero complaints. Conduct shipping activities picking, staging, loading, and verifying orders via RF. Must be proficient in SAP and operate RF Monitor as it relates to the job functions. Perform box to bulk, break bulk and raw material requests. Verify shipments for accuracy and compliance to picking/shipment requirements and instructions. Verify all shipments are labeled, loaded, and posted correctly.

Building, equipment, and supplies Conduct daily equipment check lists. Notify Supervisor of low inventory and supplies needed in warehouse. Make sure all equipment is in safe and in operational condition.  Notify Supervisory personnel of all repairs necessary to keep equipment in safe operational order. Follow all housekeeping procedures. This includes but not limited to keeping all work areas, dock areas, and aisle ways clean and free from debris. Immediately cleaning up any material loss or spillage and putting all trash into appropriate trash bins. Must follow established routine. Employee will perform all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor and/or warehouse manager. Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.

OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / DUTIES:

Ensure compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. Must be proficient in SAP and operate RF Monitor as it relates to the job functions. Physically count materials for cycle counts directed to by Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager. Special requests including but not limited to grade changes, relabeling, repack samples, etc.… Assist in all office duties as requested by Supervisor. Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development plan. Communicate with all team members to support the company’s goals and objectives. Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.

PERFORMANCE GOALS:

Zero customer complaints and zero safety violations Inventory control of 99.95% accuracy with 100% frequency compliance. On time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Possess a high school diploma or approved GED Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in the field or in a related field. Be certified by C&W Services to operate a forklift. Able to learn and navigate SAP system via RF Monitor as it relates to the job functions. Possess good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with fellow employees and supervision.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $15.57 - $23.00
