**Job Title: Inbound Associate** **Job Description** The Inbound Associate is responsible for performing inbound tasks such as each-based cycle counting, quality control, scrapping, and 3-scan receiving. This role involves working in a cold environment and requires individuals with experience in receiving, stocking, or inventory management, particularly with fresh produce. **Responsibilities** + Process all inbound deliveries quickly and accurately using computers, RF Scanning Guns, and motorized equipment to complete all required transactions. + Scan labels on packages, load packaging machines with boats, and label packages with printed labels. + Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation. + Assist in shutdown procedures and special requirements. + Perform replenishment processes. + Transfer finished products and raw materials around the plant and warehouse. + Perform cycle counts. + Ensure quality assurance of raw and finished materials. + Follow safe food practices specific to the department. + Pick food products and pack in racks verifying items using UPC codes. + Stack processed food products in totes and boxes. + Scan labels on packages, load totes and boxes, and label packages with printed labels. + Assist in housekeeping of the department. + Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse. + Breakdown and stock production shelves. **Essential Skills** + Experience with receiving, stocking, or inventory management. + Ability to work in cold environments, including temperatures below -10 degrees Fahrenheit and between 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit. + Proficiency with scanning equipment for put away tasks. + Experience with fresh produce handling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with safe food practices. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to perform physical tasks including standing/walking for 6-10 hours, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. + Comfortable using FDA approved cleaning chemicals. **Why Work Here?** We're a company that thrives on teamwork. The job requires standing/walking for 6-10 hours or more, single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. It also includes bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching, and exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
