**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker for a temporary assignment covering an internal employee on medical leave. This role involves working 1st Shift from 6:00am-4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. The duration of this assignment may vary from a few weeks to a few months.
**Responsibilities**
+ Making waste/trash pickups throughout the facility, including cardboard, plastic, and metal scraps.
+ Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation of substances such as paint solvents, thinner, and acetone.
+ Packaging and labeling products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
+ Participating in spill response on-site as needed, such as managing small oil spills.
+ Operating forklifts (experience preferred, but training can be provided).
+ Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
+ Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of trucks.
+ Moving and emptying trash gondolas in the plant.
+ Completing paperwork off-site.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6+ months of manufacturing experience, such as assembly, picker/packer, production, or warehouse work.
+ Experience in packaging, janitorial duties, cleaning, mopping, and sweeping.
+ Basic forklift operation skills (training can be provided).
+ Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and HAZWOPER certification (OSHA 40 training will be provided if necessary).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
+ Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy items as needed.

**Work Environment**
The work environment involves working at a facility with structured shifts. Employees will handle various tasks including waste management and chemical handling, while ensuring safety and compliance standards. Forklift training will be provided if necessary. The role requires physical activity, including lifting and moving materials.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Saline, Michigan.
