Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Stages the productions floors and moves products to locations within the plant or warehouse as necessary. This position reports to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and all safety guidelinesFollow all departmental SOPsDaily inspection and care of equipmentLocate material into inventory per MEPCycle count and pull material from inventory for work ordersLoad/Unload/Relocate material as needed per Inventory/Production/Shipping/Quality Control requirementsOperate dock equipment, correct or report any identified issuesAccurate and legible completion of all required paperworkCommunicates, interacts, and provides support to all other departmentsComply with receiving of any material (raw materials, packaging materials, office supplies, production supplies, maintenance supplies and othersVerify, identify, and inspect a variety of incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods from operationsData entry of various inventory transactions using barcode scanner and/or computer systemUnderstands shipping/loading requirements, weight requirements, customers' special instructionsTrouble shoot any material problems including inventory, discrepancies, freight damage, contamination, packaging, or handling issuesUnderstands the correlation between production and warehouse finished goods, fixing any issues with pounds and scanning ordersQuality control of pallets, cores, cradles, boxes, and other packaging materials received by shipping - to eliminate damage product receivedAble to work overtime as needed, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidaysOther duties and/or projects as may be assignedSHIFT HOURS: 12 hour days - 8pm to 8am, rotating schedule - ex: work 3 days have 4 days off, then work 4 days have 3 days off, this schedule works every other weekend. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Valid lift truck license or ability to attain certificationGood mathematical skillsAble to follow instructions and work with minimal supervisionAble to comprehend English language (written and verbal)Team orientedGood work and attendance record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
