Job Description
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, and ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt from vendors to shipment to various internal and external customers.
Pay Rate
$18/hour
ResponsibilitiesAssist with picking orders, loading carts with empty totes, and other housekeeping duties.Sort through totes and separate cooler packs into different crates, ensuring they are placed in the correct storage (freezer or refrigerator).Replace broken or leaking cooler packs by sealing them in new plastic bags.Dispose of any debris found in totes.Perform other duties as needed, including picking, sorting, and unloading in the distribution center.Essential Skills3-6 months of warehouse experienceAbility to lift 15 lbsAbility to stand, bend, and reach for 8 hoursAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsOwn steel-toed shoesHigh School Diploma or GEDWhy Work Here?
This position offers the opportunity for permanent employment if you perform exceptionally well. There is room for advancement in both position and pay. The work environment is temperature-controlled, providing comfort while you work. Additionally, joining during the busy season ensures a dynamic and engaging work experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is temperature controlled between 68-72 degrees. You will be part of a distribution center that handles over-the-counter drugs and medical supplies for hospitals and doctor offices, shipping to all of New York State and northern Pennsylvania. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm or until the job is complete. Timeliness is crucial in this role.
