**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** Operate machinery on a 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off schedule with no rotation. One week you will work 36 hours, and the next week you will work 48 hours. The company manufactures wire and copper and also handles electrical distribution. The major customer is a well-known home improvement retailer. This position requires a 12-hour shift from 7 pm to 7 am on a 2-2-3 schedule with a $1.50 shift differential. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery efficiently and safely. + Perform production tasks including picking, unloading, packaging, and general labor. + Operate forklifts, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as pallet jacks. + Handle shipping and receiving tasks. + Ensure the accurate and timely loading and packing of goods. **Essential Skills** + 5-10 years of forklift experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Good attendance record as per the company's 3.5 point policy. + High school diploma. + Must pass a physical (POET). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with production, picking, unloading, and packaging. + Experience with stand-up forklifts and general labor tasks. + Good tenure in previous employment (resume required). **Why Work Here?** - $1.00 pay increase upon permanent employment. - Strong work-life balance. - Opportunities for internal promotion. - Usually pays contractors holiday pay. **Work Environment** Heavy industrial environment with 12-hour night shifts (7 pm - 7 am). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Hartselle, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
