**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. Your role will involve receiving and putting away freight/stock, picking and building pallets for orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Responsibilities** + Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect their condition. + Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. + Record received and shipped items according to established procedures. + Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas. + Complete written and computerized documentation. + Perform shipping and receiving duties. + Operate Stand Up Crown forklifts/PITs. + Unload, sort, and check for discrepancies. + Maintain attention to detail, problem-solving, and auditing. **Essential Skills** + Experience with Stand Up Crown forklifts (at least 1 year). + Ability to perform manual and clerical tasks efficiently. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to follow established procedures and complete documentation. + Proficiency in the use of computers for documentation purposes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Training period provided to learn safety procedures and the company way. + Experience with basiloid attachments is highly desirable. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Openness to learning new processes and procedures. + Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a career opportunity with room for growth and promotions. The current shift is from 5am-1:30pm, paying $23/hr, and a swing shift from 11am-7:30pm, paying $24/hr. Employees work a 46-hour week. Safety is a top priority, followed by accuracy and productivity. The warehouse is not automated, and candidates must be patient and open to learning new processes. There is a strong emphasis on overall safety, especially pertaining to product storage/handling and forklift operation. Dress code is comfortable and safety-focused. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
