(1st shift : 7am - 3:30pm + 2nd shift 3:30pm-12am)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker. Our facility is a mail warehouse that sorts mail for specific customers to be sent out. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be on your feet all day, moving quickly to handle an average of 36,000 letters per hour. As a general warehouse worker, you will be responsible for moving and sorting letters and possibly weighing them as well.

Responsibilities:Sort mail and place them in bins.Feed high volumes of mail into a machine that separates them into 30 different slots by zip code.Keep up with the machine by emptying the slots and ensuring all barcodes are printed on the envelopes.Place the sorted mail in bins above your head and lift the full bins onto a cart behind you.

Work Environment:

This is a climate-controlled warehouse environment with about 5 individuals per shift. The dress code is casual, and comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be walking throughout your shift. Mats are provided for cushion to ensure you are not walking on hard floors. The interviewer and owner of the company values efficiency and pace, so be prepared to keep up.
