Warehouse Worker
**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. You will be responsible for pulling orders, stocking products, and delivering supplies throughout the hospital. The supplies include gloves, needles, surgical supplies, masks, gowns, and other PPE. You will also help ensure that the warehouse is fully stocked and assist in assembling parts when needed. **Responsibilities** + Pull orders in the basement of the hospital and deliver supplies to doctors, nurses, and techs. + Ensure products are fully stocked in the warehouse and replenish them as needed. + Walk throughout the hospital to hand-deliver supplies to various departments such as the ER, surgical offices, and rooms. + Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code. + Occasionally assist in assembling certain parts. **Essential Skills** + Experience with inventory management. + Proficient in using RF scanners. + Skilled in order picking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working in a team environment with 20+ employees. + Able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift. + Able to be on their feet for the entire shift (8+ hours). + Proficient in reading and writing in English. + Comfortable using a computer to input data through EPIC. **Why Work Here?** We offer a range of benefits including a free bus pass upon direct hire, comprehensive benefits such as 401k, medical, dental, vision, and annual bonuses. We foster a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development. **Work Environment** You will work throughout the hospital, primarily in the basement and on the dock where trucks unload supplies. Interaction with doctors, nurses, techs, and other hospital staff will be a daily occurrence. You must be open to wearing a scrub top and other PPE as required in different hospital areas. The initial training shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, for the first 2-3 weeks. After training, the shift will change to Tuesday to Saturday, with the same start time. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
