Join Our Team as a Production Worker!

Are you a dedicated and skilled worker looking to make a difference? We are seeking enthusiastic Production Workers to join our dynamic team. You'll be involved in various assembly areas, including Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing, and Packing. Your main responsibility will be to assemble high-quality mattresses using a variety of pneumatic tools, following our established work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mattresses using pneumatic tools such as c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns.Operate the Hot Melt Bond (HMB) machine for assembling HMB units.Apply various upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units.Perform foam encasing and final mattress assembly.Inspect mattress components and finished units for flaws or structural defects.Assist in box spring assembly, involving the use of hand tools and heavy lifting.Support mattress assembly with manual processes and less tool usage.Work with sewing and fabrics, including cutting and measuring materials, and operating a sewing machine.Load materials into quilting machines for production.

Essential Skills:

1+ years of experience with hand tools and general assembly.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Must be at least 18 years old.High school diploma or GED required.Experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous hand tools experience preferred.Ability to use a nail gun for some assembly roles.Capability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations.

Work Environment:

Comfortable Conditions: Work in an air-conditioned environment from 5 am to 2 pm, with potential shifts of up to 12 hours depending on production volume.Flexibility: Flexibility to work on Saturdays is required.Physical Demands: The role involves prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.Fast-Paced: The work setting is a fast-paced manufacturing plant focused on Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.Safety First: Expect exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required for any hazards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
