**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for operating power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies from one area to another and to load items on trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. Candidates will be operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts. Candidates in the distribution center will be interviewed across the street from the normal plant. **Responsibilities** + Operate power industrial trucks and machinery to move products, materials, and supplies. + Load items on trucks, shelves, racks, and pallets. + Use stand-up and sit-down forklifts. + Handle inventory and material handling tasks. + Utilize RF scanners for order picking. + Perform unloading tasks. **Essential Skills** + 6+ months of forklift (stand-up or sit-down) experience. + Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs. + Basic math skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general labor, production, and warehouse environments. + Knowledge of inventory management. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive dental, vision, and health insurance plans. It is a loud environment. Shifts include: A/B Shift: 6:45 AM - 6:45 PM; C/D Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM; Packaging: Days: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri), Mids: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Mon-Fri), Nights: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Sun-Thurs). The facility is not climate-controlled, making it very hot in the summer and normal temperature in the winter. Work is conducted indoors with about 300 employees. The dress code requires steel-toe shoes, jeans/shorts, and work-appropriate attire. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
