Warehouse Worker
**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** Our client services Excel Energy in the Denver area by shipping out electrical wire, electrical components, and large electrical equipment to service technicians. The Warehouse Worker will be primarily responsible for selecting specific parts and orders for the service technicians to be shipped out. This will involve reading a shipping label, selecting the order, and placing it at the shipping dock to be loaded using a hand pallet jack. **Responsibilities** + Select specific parts and orders for service technicians + Read shipping labels and select the appropriate orders + Place orders at the shipping dock for loading + Operate a hand pallet jack **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 40 lbs repeatedly + Basic math skills (e.g., 30 + 45 = 75) + Construction or landscaping experience for $21/hour + Warehouse experience for $22/hour **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is not required + Willingness to work 50-55 hours consistently throughout the year + Comfortable working in a loud, dirty, industrial warehouse environment + Ability to work purposefully without making excuses **Why Work Here?** After becoming permanent, employees receive stock in the company and can invest in retirement. The environment is cold in the winter and hot in the summer due to large bay doors being open throughout the day. This is a feedback-rich environment where co-workers push each other to perform well. Dress code includes steel toes, jeans without holes, and appropriate attire. The standard shift is from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with regular overtime until 3-4 pm and occasional stays until 6 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, Colorado. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
