**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** The main function of a warehouse worker is to receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. **Responsibilities** + Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer. + Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. + Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. + Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. + Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. + Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. + Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. + Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. + Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. **Essential Skills** + Verbal and written communication skills + Analytical and problem-solving ability + Team player + Detail oriented + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for security operations **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required + Experience in packing, inventory, production, and picking + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) + Ability to operate a stock picker in narrow aisles + Experience with inventory and ERP systems + Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods + Good organizational and time management skills + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Adaptability to work with minimal supervision **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where teamwork and adaptability are highly valued.
