**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking two warehouse workers to assist with loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving products. You will be responsible for using handheld scanners to move products around the warehouse, printing stickers, and applying them to products. **Responsibilities** + Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code. + Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms or freezers. + Respond to requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production workers or assembly lines. + Properly utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect production, shipping, receiving, and inventory data. + Drive vehicles to transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment. + Prepare samples or other parcels for mailing. + Follow policies and procedures and use equipment and materials properly. + Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions. + Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts as necessary. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of warehouse experience + Ability to work in a freezer environment (experience preferred) + Experience with stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks + Computer proficiency and strong attention to detail + Ability to work on feet for 8+ hours a day + Flexibility to work overtime and long-term commitment **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Willingness to operate various types of forklifts **Why Work Here?** Join a team-oriented environment where you will work closely with colleagues in a clean and organized workspace. The workspace is clean as it involves juice production, and you will be required to wear steel-toe shoes, pants, and beard and hair nets. The shift runs from 2 pm to 10 pm with a .30 shift differential. The role involves reporting to the production manager. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ellington, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
