Aerotek is hiring Order Selectors in Northside Richmond, VA!

Job Description

Operate Reach Truck, Order Picker, and Sit-down Forklift (Hyster brand equipment). The role involves order selecting food products for food pantries and charitable organizations, building pallets (lifting up to 50 lbs), and staging orders at dock doors for shipment. Utilize RF Scanner at barcode locations and work with WMS - SERES (similar to Nav). Work in freezer, cooler, and dry side environments.

ResponsibilitiesPerform basic warehouse duties utilizing RF scanners including order selecting, shipping, replenishment (WAP), receiving, and put-away.General cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance in the Distribution Center.Maintain all standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated designee.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma and at least two years of work experience or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Valid driver’s license.Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.Familiarity with a computerized Warehouse Management System.Experience operating a sit-down forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse-related equipment. Must be able to obtain Forklift certification.Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.Strong attendance and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule when necessary.Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities.Ability to meet crises calmly and show attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.Ability to work in various environments in the warehouse, including general storage, coolers, and freezers.Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate agency needs.Additional Skills & Qualifications3 - 5 years of work experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.Strong customer service expertise.Food safety experience.Knowledge of Foodbank programs and the mission of Foodbanks.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.Why Work Here?

Brand new headquarters in Henrico County with new equipment and a very clean and organized facility. Work in a food distribution center with environments including freezer, cold storage, and dry side. Must be comfortable working in all three areas.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $39520.00/yr.
