Job Description
The warehouse worker contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse workers in this role perform a range of general and specific warehouse tasks that can be easily learned on the job, such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products.
ResponsibilitiesPackage finished products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).Pick orders off paper sheets for next day's purchase orders/work orders to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready.Load finished products onto trucks (rice, flour, cups, packages, etc.).Unload products from trucks and containers, and stock them in the designated areas.Ensure quality control by making sure no damaged products are sent out or stored.Operate within standard operating procedures.Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience working in a warehouse.Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments (Freezer, Deli Refrigerator, and Room Temperature).Ability to lift 50 lbs.Ability to stand on feet all day.Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience operating a forklift or pallet jack (highly preferred).Attendance is very important; call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to arrange other employee coverage.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Clean distribution warehouse with a total of 5 people. Drivers are out most of the days doing deliveries. The warehouse has three different temperature-controlled sections: Freezer, Deli, and Main Room Temperature. Steel-toed boots are required. The typical work week is Monday-Friday, standard 40 hours per week from 8:00am-5:00pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
