**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Worker, you will receive a pick sheet with a list of items and navigate the warehouse to pick these items and place them in bins. These bins will then be taken to the packaging team for order accuracy checks. You may also be asked to unload trucks, primarily by hand, which involves handling boxes weighing between 5-35 pounds. The role can be repetitive and requires precision in unloading boxes from shipping containers and placing them onto pallets for distribution within the warehouse. **Responsibilities** + Pick items from the warehouse according to the pick sheet. + Place picked items in bins for the packaging team. + Unload trucks by hand, handling boxes weighing 5-35 pounds. + Place boxes from shipping containers onto pallets for warehouse distribution. **Essential Skills** + Experience in warehouse packing and picking orders. + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to maintain a good attitude in a repetitive work environment. **Why Work Here?** You will receive training for various positions within the warehouse, which can lead to increased pay based on your performance. Multiple pay raises are available, potentially bringing your total hourly rate up to $20 an hour. **Shift Times & Work Environment** Shift hours for order picking are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Work hours extend until the day's tasks are complete, which may include working until 6pm and some Saturdays, especially during the busy season from March to May. The work environment is a warehouse setting with approximately 10-16 total employees. The warehouse is not temperature-controlled in the summer, so it can get warm. The dress code is casual, but steel-toed shoes are required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, Missouri **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
