Warehouse Worker- Sanitation/Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shif
**Position:** Janitor/ Maintenance **Work Schedule and Pay:** _Full time position/ 2nd shift:_ • **Schedule** : Monday to Thursday 4:00PM to 2:00AM **Pay:** $19.50p/h plus $1 shift differential **Benefits:** • Paid Time Off • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Life Insurance • 401K • Associate Referral Program Our associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization! **Job Responsibilities:** Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc. Complete daily sanitation logs Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues Complies with all safety requirements Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor **Qualifications:** • 6 month of experience min required • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required • Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required • Flexible to work overtime preferred • Must be ok with operating equipment • Warehouse size is 1.2 million square ft and must be able to walk or ride a bike • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required • Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required. • This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
