Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an experienced Warehouse Yard Manager. 

The Warehouse-Yard Manager will lead and manage all operational aspects of the branch and work in conjunction with the Branch Manager and sales associates to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

The Warehouse-Yard Manager is accountable for:

Leading and assigning the daily activities of the branch operations teamInterview, hire, and train associates; plan, assign, and direct workManaging inventory accuracy, cycle count plan completion and inventory accuracyWorking with outside companies for facility or equipment repairs

Responsibilities Complete and account for payroll timekeeping, approves PTO for direct reports Support operations teams in their daily duties hands on as needed Interact with dedicated fleet providers, trucking companies and temp agencies Use the company ERP system to complete operational transactions such as pick lists, delivery notes, PO/DO receiving, cycle counts, scrap, work order processing as well as other various other tasks Administer safety program and forklift certificationsDaily forklift inspection report for all forkliftsManage gate shop workflow, production, quality control and associated paperwork.Provide strong leadership and a positive work environment Work with branch sales team and branch manager to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse operations supervisory/management roleWorking knowledge of warehouse/yard/delivery operations.Demonstrated leadership abilities, positive mental attitude, sense of urgency, strong customer service orientationStrong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal & written)Willingness and ability to pursue higher education and continuous improvementExcellent Inventory Management skillsProficient in ERP usage, MS Office Programs, and other internet-based programs
