Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the warehouse and slab yard helping to guide large slabs of natural and manufactured stone to the viewing area and the shipping docks. We seek candidates with a good attitude who are willing to learn. This role involves lifting materials up to 75 pounds and training on forklift operation. Part of the warehouse is outside, so candidates must be comfortable working in hot conditions and doing a lot of walking. Basic customer interaction is required.

This is an opportunity to grow and potentially relocate within the Southwest. The small crew size allows for flexibility, and the company invests in employee training and growth. Many have started in the warehouse and moved up to other positions. There are annual reviews for salary increases and benefits available after 90 days. Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse that distributes natural and manufactured stone, tile, and other solid surfaces for commercial and residential applications. Working hours are 7AM - 5PM (Monday to Friday) and some Saturdays from 9AM - 3PM starting in June. The warehouse is closed on Sundays and holidays. Employees are provided with water, ice, Gatorade, and coffee, along with frequent breaks in the summer to stay hydrated. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, work jeans, and a plain t-shirt. While there is not a lot of heavy lifting, there is a significant amount of walking involved.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
