Essential Functions • Loads and unloads trucks • Accurately counts materials coming in and going out of warehouse • Performs preventative maintenance on forklift and/or additional equipment at warehouse • Cleans and maintains warehouse • Responsible for quality control of products/materials • Packages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc.) • Stages finished product for loading • Participates in emergency response drills • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or educational equivalent. 3 years related experience. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Possess basic written communication skills. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Basic PC skills. The work environment is very fast paced and noisy. It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight. Mathematical reasoning, Position Summary Under general supervision, receives inbound material from outside suppliers and field locations. Stocks received material, picks materials, components and end products and delivers to customers. Performs cycle counts. Fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.
