Job Overview: As the 2nd shift lead warehouseperson at Victaulic, you will supervise and oversee the operations and activities of the warehouse during the second shift. This includes managing a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient handling and movement of Victaulic products, and maintaining a safe work environment. Your leadership will help achieve productivity targets while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision:Oversee the work of warehouse staff on the 2nd shift.Provide training and coaching to team members as needed.Monitor team performance and productivity to meet operational goals.Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.Warehouse Operations:Coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping of Victaulic products.Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and shipping processes.Maintain proper inventory levels and report discrepancies.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and procedures, adhering to Victaulic's standards.Conduct safety audits and investigate any incidents or accidents.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Problem Solving:Address and resolve issues such as inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or order errors.Collaborate with other leads and managers to ensure efficient warehouse operations.Communication and Reporting:Communicate effectively with team members, other shifts, and management.Provide shift updates and performance reports to management.Maintain accurate records and documentation of shift activities.Equipment Maintenance:Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, reporting any malfunctions.Ensure team members use equipment safely and appropriately.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.Proven experience in warehouse operations, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.Availability to work 2nd shift hours and some overtime as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.  #TOP123  #LI-JT1   #LI-ONSITE
