Responsibilities What You'll Do: At V2X, we are making a difference by providing support to programs at NAVAIR. This office is responsible for research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's Autonomous Aircraft program. We are looking for a Senior Level Warfare Integration Analyst to support the execution of Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) research and development (R&D) programs by serving as the focal point for contractor engagement management throughout the engineering integration and execution process. This position is located on-site in Patuxent River, MD and requires the candidate to have an active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Key Responsibilities: Support the engineering design and integration of Warfare Analysis Events. Work with the event staff to derive event specification requirements from objectives and customer needs. Document objectives and support the development of acquisition and technical documentation including, but not limited to, statements of work and specifications. Assist in the development of long-term plans for capability integration in a warfare centric modeling and simulation environment. Work with multiple entities / stakeholders to develop a long-term strategy for implementing upgrades and improvements to add capability to the warfare analysis environment. Provide analytical support and expertise in the evaluation of engagement effectiveness. Facilitate the integration process for the modification of models for warfare analysis. During this process, document and update modeled system performance, and deviations from desired performance. Coordinate functions between government and contractor project leads and project engineers along with the user community subject matter experts, warfighters, and military leaders involved in program execution. Support the development of data collection and analysis plans for virtual and constructive simulation work in conjunction with Government customers. Work with internal Government management to ensure that plans are executable and provide adequate framework for assessment of objectives. Support the development of data collection road maps for new implementations of capabilities. Provide support to create data product output that meets customer requirements in a timely fashion. Interface with other modeling and simulation activities and assist in exchange of information and data. Provide input during planning stages to ensure data products are available or can be created to support event / analysis objectives. Become knowledgeable in system technical specifications and road maps in order to be able to help inform analysis plans, analysis products and participate in product reviews. Provide insight to determine the effectiveness of simulation solutions for executing objectives and gathering data and recommend modifications to task processes for future events. Significant (20-40%) travel is required for this position. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience: Ten (10) or more years of experience of software engineering or software systems engineering experience. Experience coordinating operations across multiple organizational boundaries. Experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment. Skill: Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills. Other Requirement: Active U.S. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Software: Proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
