Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warranty Administrator to support our engine warranty registration process. This role involves verifying customer-submitted warranty data, entering customer information into our systems, and maintaining clear communication with customers regarding their warranty status. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or inside sales, particularly in field support or industrial settings.
ResponsibilitiesVerify customer-submitted warranty registration data.Submit customer registration data to the SIMSi team.Enter customer data into IPSD Salesforce and share lead data with relevant teams including Cat Dealer, Cat Insurance, and Aftermarket field teams.Respond to customer inquiries and notify them of warranty registration status.Keep detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.Mitigate product and product protection issues to ensure optimal maintenance over the lifetime of the engine.Collaborate with local dealer networks to support and promote customer and dealership partnerships.Essential SkillsExperience with Salesforce.Knowledge of warranty claims and customer support.Proficiency in data entry and order entry.Minimum of 2+ years in inside sales or customer service, particularly in field support or industrial settings.Ability to adjust and adapt to different temperaments.Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to upsell services.Knowledge of industrial equipment and CAT products.Bilingual capabilities.Experience with outbound calls.Work Environment
The team deals with industrial/loose (individual) engines that power non-CAT vehicles. This role involves working closely with local dealer networks to pinpoint these engines and support customer-dealership partnerships. The position offers a flexible schedule, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, based in Seguin, TX (Building 2).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
