Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Warranty Technician in the marine industry. This position is based in Lowell, Michigan. As a Warranty Technician, you will be part of a remote team, charged with the responsibility of closely coordinating with Customer Service Quality and Technical Support for the successful execution of your duties. Responsibilities: • Independently review and comprehend existing warranty contracts and terms • Provide warranty support to all channel partners, consumers and internal customers • Timely processing of warranty claims against warranty contracts • Maintain detailed records of all Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA’s) processed into the SalesForce CRM • Escalate questions and concerns to senior team members when necessary • Collaborate with various teams such as Customer Service, Engineering, Field service, Product Management, Quality or Tech Support as needed • Correspond with Returns receiving team on associated Warranty claims • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and drive the completion of tasks within a timely manner per processes • Uphold the highest standard of professionalism • Be open to accepting additional workload as delegated by superiors. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to provide effective Technical Support • Experience in Training and Coordination roles • Capable of Quality Review and Claim Administration • Knowledge of Database management, Contracts, and Component Selection • Familiar with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and CRM systems • Strong Communication Skills • Ability to Execute tasks and manage Product Management • Working knowledge of Digital platforms, Mobile technologies, Power BI, and Maps API • Background in Engineering is desirable Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
