Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

 

Wash Bay teammates ensure our trucks & trailers are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. The current Wash Bay teammate opening is for Monday-Thursday, 10 pm-6:30 am, and Sunday day shifts. Days off will be Friday and Saturday.

 

Wash and clean the exterior and interior of trucks using pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents Inspect trucks for damages and report any issues to management Maintain wash bay area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow all safety procedures and guidelines Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Valid CDL-A license Previous experience in a wash bay or automotive detailing environment is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Benefits
