HDR is seeking a talented Resources Business Group Manager to lead our exciting Washington practice. The Resources Business Group provides broad engineering, planning, design, and environmental services in addition to a variety of other project and programmatic services to a diverse and established client base across the State of Washington.

Through our professional staff, the Resources Business group at HDR provides expert consulting services for the power (delivery, generation, hydropower), industrial, and waste/recycling markets. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies with the objective of growing our business and continuing to diversify our client base.

Responsibilities also include leading strategic client and project pursuits, managing projects, providing technical services, staff administration, liaising with marketing support services, contract reviews, overseeing quality of deliverables, and supervising and mentoring staff. The business group manager prepares annual revenue forecasts and budgets, monitors performance of the business group, and sells and wins projects that match the expertise and developmental goals of the staff. This position works reports to the Area Manager and works cooperatively with the Regional Resources Business Group Director and National Directors and other business lines in the company.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience which include strong leadership experience in providing consulting services (engineering, environmental, or regulatory) for complex projects. Specific knowledge of the Washington market is a plus.Demonstrated ability to successfully lead client teams in support of client development and project execution.Demonstrated experience in organizational development, building and nurturing team structure for program growth and resiliency.Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams in an inclusive and proactive manner in executing high quality and timely work for clients.Committed to quality, process improvements, and upholding HDR values.Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand.Ability to work cooperatively with regional and local office managers, other area business group managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
